Witnesses to Hunger Exhibit Opening Reception
October 16, 2012
Witnesses to Hunger is an advocacy project of the Center for Hunger-Free Communities at Drexel University School of Public Health. Through this project, parents depict their experiences of raising children on a limited income. Using digital photography, the Witnesses spark dialogue, engage and inform policymakers, and inspire change.
This exhibit features photographs by six Baltimore-based Witnesses as well as photographs by other Witnesses from around the East Coast. Children's HealthWatch is in partnership with Witnesses to Hunger for the exhibition, along with the Division of Growth and Nutrition, University of Maryland School of Medicine, and Maryland Hunger Solutions. The reception is in conjuction with the second annual Fighting Hunger in Maryland Conference.
The Exhibit will take place from October 1st to November 1st and is free and open to the public.
